Elevate Your Experience: A Guide to Tiering Cannabis Products

At Snap Canna, we carry a wide variety of products at many different price and quality levels. We strive to always source the best products Illinois cultivators, craft grows and infusers have to offer, at the best possible price.

If you come into shop at one of our locations, our budtenders are there to help you navigate all the different categories, brands, and strains or varieties to help you find the best experience for you. If you prefer to shop online and pick up using our express pick up option, it can be hard to decipher if you are getting the best value. While every brand would like to claim they are the best on the market, we know that can be true, so we decided to tap into some of the most experienced cannabis consumers we know, our budtenders and managers!

Our budtenders and managers are talking about their favorite products all the time, so we wanted to find the best ways to share that information with you. Every week, they vote on their favorite products in the store and we post those as our “Staff Picks of the Week.” Look for those to drop before each weekend on Thursdays.

We also got together and created 4 tiers of products based on quality, potency, and other factors. Products will move in and out of the tiers based on how our staff experiences the products, but you can find a breakdown of what each tier means to us, and hopefully you here!

Tier 1: Value

Let's start with Tier 1 – which you will find on our menu as “Value”. The Value tier are great budget products, perfect for those who are just dipping their toes into the world of cannabis, looking for something simple and straightforward or looking to buy in bulk. These products typically have lower potency or terpene levels, or just didn't have the flavor profile or effect our budtenders were looking for. We also list some products like popcorn flower (smaller buds) or shake, which are sold in larger weight intervals and at a cheaper price. However, they're great for casual consumption or for those who prefer a milder experience.

Tier 2: Everyday

Moving up the ladder, we have Tier 2 – “Everyday”. Everyday products offer a step up in quality and potency compared to Value products. You'll find a wider variety of strains and products in this category, catering to a broader range of preferences. Whether you're looking for something to help you relax after a long day or boost your creativity during a brainstorming session, Tier 2 has got you covered.

Tier 3: Premium

Now, let's talk about Tier 3 – the cream of the crop, the crème de la crème. Tier 3 products are the epitome of quality and craftsmanship in the cannabis world. These products boast high potency levels, top-quality strains, and a host of other premium features that set them apart from the rest. If you're serious about your cannabis experience and willing to invest a little extra, Tier 3 is where it's at.

Tier 4: Luxury

Last but certainly not least, we have Tier 4 – the pinnacle of luxury in the cannabis world. Tier 4 products are the stuff of legends, reserved for those with discerning tastes and deep pockets. Think ultra-high potency, rare and exotic strains, or a level of craft processes that are second to none. Tier 4 products are not for the faint of heart – but for those who can afford it, they offer an unparalleled cannabis experience.
